This checklist will help optimize the impact of Susan's presentation.
RISER: Please provide a small riser if the room is long and narrow, or if the audience headcount exceeds 80.
MICROPHONE: Hand held (not lavalier) wireless microphone preferred.
VISUAL AIDS: For programs exceeding 1 hour in length, Susan will usually use either overheads or LCD projection. Considerations are made for your operating budget and the versatility of the program requested.
LIGHTING: Room as fully lit as possible, especially the stage area.
HANDOUTS: For programs more then 1-1/2 hours in length, a master set of participant materials will be provided for the meeting planner to duplicate at the client's expense.
LEARNING RESOURCES: "I wish my mother (boss, spouse, friend, daughter or son) was here to hear what you had to say." This is a comment you will more than likely hear after Susan leaves the stage. Or many participants wish they had Susan's talk on tape so they could reinforce their learning. We have found it beneficial to your group to offer Susan's books and tapes for purchase after the meeting. Or we will be happy to discuss incorporating her book into the cost of the meeting so every participant receives one.
ROOM SEATING: If seated in rounds, try to seat in crescents so all participants will be facing the stage. If seated theatre style, try for a curved effect as this dramatically enhances the warmth and interaction of the group.
